Had an accident !!

This morning i was soooo looking forward to going to see my midwife for first time and as i was setting of to go someone bumped into my car at a junction!!! Can't believe it, first time seeing midwife and sat blubbering in her office! luckily my car fine, but the shock really, and i feel ok, i think..

How did your appointment with the midwife go?

Fine thanks, after i had finished being a big baby, she just went through health check, family history and gave me pregnancy book. She doesn't want to see me until end of december tho! and said first scan will be around 10 to 16 weeks!! I aint waiting 16 weeks, will have to pay for one! Says i will need a dating scan as i am unsure exactly of dates, i think i am more but she reckons 5 weeks....

Midwives - they just don't get how impatient we are and that we need to know now, not in weeks and weeks time!!
