Had enough dnt even think I want round 2 of clomid :/

I've just had enough! Been feeling down since tues at the first scan- the follicles are too small and my lining... I know it's not the end of he world it was my first try but it was so upsetting.. May be the first round of clomid but we have been trying for 2 years now :/

I'm getting fed up of feeling down and hearing and seeing nothing but bad news (bfn's) evey month and making oh feel bad cause im upset...

I'm seriously debating wether to take the nex round of clomid or wether to forget about ttc and if it happens it happens (but easier said than done)

Argh I'm do confused right now I'm fed up of everything revolving around ttc- I go out or watch tv and everyones just pregnant- All I want is my baby and I'm at the point where I'm loosing hope and just feel like giving up I'm tired of being upset and disappointed...
Just need people to talk to really x

I am so sorry you are feeling like this hun,

the first round of clomid is more like a trial to see the dosage that is right for you and whether you will need the trigger shot. take it like this, it was a trial, for sure next month with higher dosage you'll produce bigger eggs...

Thanks lily7 and want2bmum I think I'm having one of them weeks which started off bad and ended bad feeling sorry for myself lol! I think sometime ttc can be so disappointing and sad at times especially whn we don't get the results we want i use to take it on the chin but now it gets to me abit more..
Want2bmum I probably will do the next round but right now it's not appealing to me- its annoying that it didn't work on my follicles and the lining is too thin but ive just got to have hope I suppose

I feel like that almost every cycle. I tell myself if I don't get prego this month I'm done ttc. But then when the time comes I dive right back in. It's hard to let it go. Don't give up yet. It took almost two yrs and 5 rounds of clomid before I conceived my sweet boy. I'm now a couple of weeks away from the one year mark ttc #2.

Ttc kinda sucks but I just keep telling myself maybe next cycle will be my time.

I conceived my son on 100mg cd5-9. Shock of my life. My doctor had just told me my chances of conceiving were slim. I sure showed him.

I was hoping ttc would go smoother for a second baby but it's not.

I am with want2bmum! The first round is more like a trial to see how your body responds. I didn't get pregnant my first round of clomid, but the second one I got my BFP! Don't give up! Take the second round and see what happens

I'm on my first cycle of Clomid now hun so def not talking from experience but I've started taking wheat germ oil as I heard this helps your lining from getting too thin whilst on Clomid. Something to consider and research for next cycle? Def don't give up! xx

Who said you were too overweight to use clomid?? I am obese and I am on 150 mg of CLOMID!! Babydust to all!

Hi scerena, me again!
As you know, it's my first cycle of Clomid too. I had my cd 10 ultrasound, then one on cd 12, then one on cd 16 and all the same story... Lots of follicles but all very small! So, I know exactly how you feel. I'm going back on Weds which will be cd21. I'm really not holding out much hope! As some of the other ladies have said though, it's only our first go and we might do better on 100mg. I'll keep everything crossed for you. When are you going back for another scan? X

Hey MrsHY sorry to hear you are going through the same- well my fs said to go back Friday (just gone) and Monday but I had another lady for some reason on Friday and she just said there's no point going back as it didn't improve within them 3 days which personally I thought was wrong as some people do not ovulate until late on clomid :/ my lady was going to have me back on Monday but she wasn't in...

I really hope you get some good news Hun definately let me know how you get on? I really hope 100mg works for us!- what was your lining like? X

I thought that my fertility specialist was crazy... but he put me on HALF of a 50 mg pill a day (so roughly 25 mg) for 8 days. CD 3-10
My first cycle he had me taking the half pills for 10 days, but I guess he didn't like the way i responded to it so he cut it back to 8 days for my second cycle and BAM. preggo.
I guess he wasn't so crazy after all!

Wow you at soooo lucky! My body wouldn't respond to 50mg! For some reason I knew that when they have it to me but they have to e on the safe side dont they...

Hiya! I haven't been told to take it by a doctor, I just googled and discovered it so bought some from Holland and Barrett. The mg I am taking is 1130mg... I'm pretty sure I googled to make sure it was a safe mg but I just cant remember where I got that info or the exact details for the life of me! xxx
