And we saw a little 6 week old beany with a heart going like the clappers :happydance:

You could even see the heart beating alternately in the 2 parts of the heart - very awesome. Beany was even shaped like a blob. Looked so different to the scan I had last time where we were told there was a slow heartbeat.

Me and hubby are very happy - he confessed to nearly crying in the scan room when she said it looked great.

I'm going back in 2 weeks for another scan just to check everything's still good, so I'm hoping that beany keeps growing strong.

Good luck and baby dust to everyone else

Yey!!!!! Congratulations Sherlock :happydance:

That's great news - I am really pleased for you. I am sure things will be fine at your next scan. xx

Really pleased for you xx and I hope the next scan goes as well as this one did xxx

Excellent news and I hope this one really sticks for you. Midwife said I won't see much today at my scan (6w6d) but I've seen a lot of ppl say that they seen bean and a heartbeat.

Glad everything was well with the scan sticky :dust:

I'm 6w1d today & saw and heard the heartbeat!! My hcg was only at 1448 last Tuesday, so I wasn't expecting to see the heartbeat for another week. How did your scan end up going?!

I didnt see a heartbeat but seen a sac and what may be a pole. Need to go back next week for a second scan and hopefuly baby will have grown. I reckon I'll be put back is baby has grown as what we seen was what you would see at 5 weeks now 6w6d.

What we did see was a nice big blood clot which made things a lot harder for the sonographer to make out. That's what is causing all the problems.
