Hi all,

could I have your honest opinions on Hadden as a boy's name please?

We want something unusual, but still an old name (Hadden is an Old English name) and the meaning is appropriate for us too, but we want people to like it as well.

What do you think?

is it pronounced hay-den or had-en? xx

Had-den. Do you think people will prounounce it wrong then?

No, its pronounced as its wrote.... I like it, I just haven't heard it before,so wasn't sure if it was another way of spelling Hayden, iykwim! :flower:

I'm glad you like it :) It is unusual I know, but I hope not in a random celebrity name kind of way, iykwim. I found it in a name book and have since looked it up online too.

Thanks for your opinion :)

That's what I was thinking maybe she was spelling Hayden a different way, but my first look at it I thought Had-den. Very unusual, but I like it!

Thanks for all your opinions :) I'm glad most people seem to like it :) I was worried everyone might say it was a bad idea.

I like it - I always think what it would be shortened to and though Haddie - that's cute :-)
