Just when I thought I could relax a little after getting my good HCG results back.....

I just read the girls in TTC talking about dying your hair when pregnant - ie. in the first tri which some of them may be in and not have had their BFP yet.

So now I'm worried AGAIN because I had my greys/roots coloured last week.

If it ain't one thing..............:

Don´t worry, I´m a beautician and work in a hair salon. I asked them the very same question and they laughed and said that the chemicals will not harm your baby. The only reason some people say that you shouldn´t have your hair dyed in the first tri is that your hormones are all over the place and could affect the outcome of the colour. That´s all!!

LOL! I know the feeling!! They try and scare us with everything!! My sis is a hairdresser too and said it is rubbish! which is good as my roots are pretty shocking at the moment.....to be honest I think a lot of places just say you can't do things in case anything comes back on them...

I'm with charliepops on this one. Ex hairdresser I am, it's to do with the changes in your body. If you are ill, you normally find the parts of your body to suffer will be nails and hair. Just don't over do it, get your roots done no worries. Mine are due and being pregnant is not going to stop me!!

I heard that the other day! And had been putting off colouring my hair for the past 3 months lol! I use boots botanics and its all natural stuff anyway so I dnt know why I didnt just use it!

I don't think it's true...This is probably a myth.My cousin once told me that she doesn't wash her hair during period because you can die.Ofcourse,I was very little and I belived her.But those things aren't true...
