Hi ladies. My baby girl is almost 10 months old (how time flies, only seems like yesterday I went into hospital to have her almost 4yr old brother never mind her ha).
Anyway, on Wednesday I noticed a little rash on her foot after her sock came off during her nap, just thought maybe the sock. Yesterday morning I was changing her nappy and noticed on both legs, her feet up to her knees was covered in a rash, also a bit where her nappy lies. I took her to the docs and ar first she said it sounded like hand foot and mouth as that's going round at the minute but because there was nothing on her hands or mouth she put it down to viral due to her just getting over her cold.
This morning she has a few blister looking spots on her right hand, nothing on the left and nothing on the right.

Sorry for the rubbish photos, she doesnt stay still long enough. She is totally fine in herself and the doc said to go back if she becomes unwell, but just wondering, could it be hand foot and mouth and not just viral like she said? The rash looks more nasty than yesterday.

looks like it to me. hfm from what i gathered is caused by a variety of viruses that present in this way. the main thing is the throat, that can get sore if they get them down there so just keep offering cool fluids

Thanks. She's fine in herself and nothing around her mouth at the minute. Eating normal, just with her getting few blistery spots on her hand it made me think more than just the viral rash after having a cold.

Looks like hand, foot and mouth to me. My little one had it a month or two ago but t only got the lesions other hand and feet with nothing in her mouth. It didn't bothe her except the day before the lesions appeared, when she had a high temperature.
