Happy with my GPs support today (Blood Tests)

Im very pleased today as my GP has took me seriously and ordered a thorough investigation of my hormones/ovaries etc.

She is giving me thorough blood tests to include a full hormone and fertility check on my FSH/LH and Prolactin levels. Also checking my thyroid and kidney functions as had past problems there too. Plus she has put a request in for me to have further ultrasounds done on my ovarian cysts and made an appointment with an obstetrician.

Its taken me absolutely years to get any help and so i caught her on a good helpful day today.

Just wanted to tell you that eventually people help us

I'm being checked over too and although exciting is also quite scary at the same time too... what will it show etc? Got to go back end of April. Feeling positive though... glad your gp being so supportive.

I dont know what it will show but it will basically show up any ovarian, thyroid, kidney and blood issues. That should take care of any possible problems. My GP did make me laugh though as she told me to just 'try try try' now. I said i havent had my first AF after MC but she said 'dont worry thats just for dating purposes, just go for it now' LOL
