what do you think to the name Hermione?
i know there will be alot of comparision to the film but i dont want that i jsut want to know what people think of the name itself.
i quite like it. its pretty but unusual.
what do you guys think? xx

i dont know why i worry really because there are lots more bellas edwards and jacobs being born since twilight came out lol.

Exactly re Twilight! It annoys me so much as OH and I both liked Edward, Jasper & Jacob before Twilight even came out but now feel like we couldn't use them because people would assume that we chose them because of Twilight...and much as I like the Twilight books (and I do!) I don't want people to assume that because it simply wouldn't be true! However, I think Hermione is a bit more classic and I don't think it has had that much of a rise in popularity because of HP, especially compared to Edward, Bella & Jacob!

If you're wanting twin girls, have you thought of what to put with Hermione for the other twin?

yes lol, ive got a list of names i like but the only one at the moment i really like that goes well with Hermione is Tallulah.

Hermione and Tallulah, its got a nice ring to it but im still not sure about it. ive got a long list of names ive come up with and played around with but not too sure which ones i like that go with it apart from Tallulah. xx

Tallulah is really pretty But my cat is named that so I am biased! I've always liked Hestia to go with Hermione...Hermione & Hestia/Hestia & Hermione

I'm a huge HP nerd but I think in a few years even only people like me will really associate it with HP. Anyway Hermione is an awesome character and a strong woman in the book and it has a strong background in myth. I think it's pretty.

but, I did name my baby Bella...because I fell in love with the name and it suits her perfect
