has any one re-poas and what was the result?*more pics added*

ok so i was bored and haven't any i.c's left in the house so found some of my bfn ones and decided to re-poas to see what happened.

2 out of 3 came up with a line one was pretty seeable the other one you really had to squint to see it. i tried to get a pic for everyone to see but you can barely see the line thanks to my crap picture taking skills lol.

i'm now 5dpo or could be 8dpo not really sure though more likely 5dpo.

so has anyone else tried this and what did it come up with? x

yeah the pic is pretty rubbish i can just about see a line on the first one if i tilt my laptop.

i've ordered some more from ebay do have frer upstairs but dont want to waste them til af is late lol.

not getting my hopes up just was bored and know its far to early to get a bfp. x

well decided to take more pics of the tests and can definately see the lines now. they defo look like evaps though! x

Peeonastick.com states that you can not get an accurate reading on a test that has already been used. This is because the ink that makes the line is just a small pad of ink that gets released when the HPT is first used. Once the test is used once there is no more ink left to make a line.

thanks girls i was only doing it for fun know that the lines aren't reliable and they are definately evap lines. just gave me something to do to take my mind off the 2ww!

i did a hpt last month with water to see if i would get a line as i was getting faint ones when i poas and got no line on the water test.

lol i love hpt fun too, i've done them with varying concentrations of urine diluted with water, and (ahem) with blood and blood mixed with water to make it flow better ( erm, don't bother trying this one, it doesn't work!!).

pmsl glad i'm not the only crazy one! ever since i looked on the pee on a stick website i have tried experimenting with hpts lol.

though i think shes covered all the bases on her website.

dont think shes tried saliva yet wonder if that would work lol? might have to try it once i do get a bfp for real! x

I have a funny (well funny now) story bout reusing a pee stick.

In my last ivf cycle where you are so tense waiting for the result it was test day and I couldn't get out of the house to get pee sticks. Was staying with family and no excuse to go out and no shop in walking distance.

So I asked my pg sister if she had one left. Ah haa - she did - so she waited outside door and I whizzed into the toilet. Did a poas and was so excited and happy with a bfp. Rushed out to tell her and was gutted to discover that the foolish woman had put her USED pee stick back in the box!!!!! What do i know about pee sticks???? I didn't know they were supposed to come individually foil wrapped - so I grabbed what came to hand and reused hers!! YIKES!!!!

Had to go and do another one but had no wee left, squeezed out a few drops and was very happy and relieved with a BFP.. Imagine of the second one came out BFN - that would have been just SO gutting...

Hmmm..I think they're evaps personally..... Good luck though!!!

I'm addicted to p-ingoas! I'm not even trying and I'm addicted...how sad does that make me?! I'll defo be trying out all the saliva etc tests when I am pregnant though! It's like a science experiment and I love science!! ...Now I sound like a complete geek!!!
