has anyone been induced at st james, Leeds

I am due to be induced on Friday at St James and i was wondering whether hubby is allowed to stay until baby is born or does he have to leave at night unless I am in labour. I am just abit concerned as we live at the other side of the city (was originally at lgi but transferred to st james due to gestational diabetes) and hubby would need to get taxi back if urgent.

I don't think they let birth partners stay overnight on the ante-natal ward, or at least they didn't used to. Give your midwife a call, I am sure she will have up to date information. My experience is based on a friend and her son is at school now so it could be well off the mark!

I wasn't induced but i had my son at this hospital, and the staff on labour ward really helped me be at ease! Good luck x
