Has anyone experienced cramping while taking provera?

I am taking prometrium not provera (oops) and right now I am actually experiencing some cramping. It is a week before Aunt Flo would be due, but these do not feel like my wonderful endometriosis filled period cramps.
Has anyone experienced this or should I call my doctor?
