Just wondering really if anyone has fought there pct for Ivf! My pct does not fund anyone under the age of 30 no matter what the problem is ( which is disgusting) My consultant has told me the only option I have now is Ivf, I have endrometriousis but it is only mild but havnt been able to fall pregnant! He then told me even though its my only option the NHS will not fund IVF till im 30 and even then only 1 try would be avaliable! My pct wont fund iuis either! In the nice guidelines it states ivf is for people from 23-35 and up to 3 shots...and iui should be up to 6 trys ( and there offering none)! Has anyone fought with the pct?

Any info would be helpfull! x

Sorry just read your sig and my post is n/a

What are they doing to get you ovulating??

You could try Napro, the programme I'm on. I'm determined I'll get my BFP naturally. x

Not so much fought as such but i was very persistent with my consultant/pct, throwing detail and fertility stats etc to show i didn't have time to wait and so my consultant applied for 'out of policy funding' where she put the details of my case forward and it got approved. I had originally been considered 'unexplained' (I'm not) as per the nhs policy and so should have had a 3yr wait for treatment.

I had already started treatment privately, had all my tests done and a number of issues had been revealed that were not identified by nhs tests.....my consultant said i had shown 'considerable commitment' (!) and would do what she could to have the nhs assist me.

yeh im thinking of trying to fight it, it will three years next jan, which im happy to wait till then...but 30 is a 7 years wait! best of luck and hope your bfp! did u write to the pct your self or did you get your consultant to? x
