Has Anyone Gotten Pregnant RIGHT After a MC?

Hey everybody- I hope that all of your hurts are healing further.

I was wondering if any of you became pregnant immediately after a MC? And if so, could you please be honest and share the outcome? I can handle to truth, so please don't be scared to share your story. I would like to know what to expect.

I have two beautiful little boys, ages 3 and 1 and one little angel. I had a natural MC about 3.5 weeks ago and suspect that I may again be pregnant. We planned on waiting for a while...but it appears that I have ovulated right on schedule! So...I am not holding my breath...but the chances of me being pregnant are pretty high considering when we . (Sorry, I just HAD to use that icon!- too funny)

I have already had a whiff of "pregnancy feeling", so I am preparing myself for a ride here.

hey hun! i am in the exact same situation as you. i miscarried 3 weeks ago today and me and my OH have started trying again straight away. the problems i have is i have no idea when im ovulating and when is safe to do a test since we wont have had a period? i reaaaaalllllyy hope i get a BFP this month. good luck to you! xx

Thank you for your post. I too hope you get a soon!!!

As far as ovulation is concerned, I have always charted my cycles, so I am all too familiar with the signs of ovulation. My cervical mucous is always the key factor for me, because my temperatures have never really followed a distinct pattern.

I guess we'll have to wait and see!

firstly, sorry for your loss
i've had 2 miscarriages, the first in November 2007 and then i fell pregnant again in December 2007... unfortunately that ended in miscarriage too.. but i can happen hun.. good luck, i have everything crossed for you

I did. I got my bfp about 5wks after the mc finished.
I did also use Preseed however on the months I did get a bfp.

It can happen, but don't just expect it to happen so soon, i'd hate for you to feel let down. xxxxxxxxxxxxx

hi hun i lost my 1st angel in may last year and got pg straight after sadly i lost that baby too it then took us 5 months to get pg with jessica and sadly we lost her last week. not to say that this will happen to you too i think all my losses were related due to the conditions jessica had. i have had 2 healthy daughters before my losses too.

i really hope that if you are pg that your baby is a sticky one. x

Sorry to hear of your loss.

We too lost our little bean 3 weeks ago (Good Friday, early hours).
We too have been as & when. Pretty sure I o'd last so week, so we will have to see.

Before m/c arrived ev 28 days without fail, so in theory I'm due a visit a week on Fri, but it can take upto 6 weeks!

So if she doesn't arrive, do I wait or do I test (& be disappointed).

Today my boobs are uncomf & I've been getting dull ache low down, which I often get a week b4 af due, so I guess I'll be seeing her next week.

Hi honey.I had 3 miscarriages and then 2 and a half weeks after my last miscarriage I got pregnant again.
And that pregnancy resulted in my daughter who is now a happy and healthy 10 month old

Just wanted to share my story i had a mmc and had a d&c on feb 20th,decided to try again straight away then end off march got my BFP!!! I knew i was pregnant again as i had already had a negative test after my m/c i believed that if my body wasnt ready to handle another baby then i wouldnt get pregnant again but i also didnt want to miss out on being so extra fertile after my m/c but still was a shock when i got a positive test, have been having early scans and all is well so far in this pregnancy i have my 3 month scan on tuesday.

Sorry for your loss. I miscarried back in December (only took me just over 2 months to get pregnant that time) but I'm now on my 5th cycle and really hoping and praying this is my month. However, the good news, my sister in law got pregnant again straight away after a miscarriage and my nephew is now 6 so it worked for her. I think lots of people do and lots of people don't.

It takes a brave soul to try again after going through the pain and suffering of a loss.......what keeps me going and trying again is the fact that I wouldn't be here if it wasn't for my parents trying again. I have read a poem in one of my books that makes me tear up. Thought I would share:

A Different Child

A different child,
People notice

Surrounded by love,
Never doubting you are wanted;
Only look at the pride and joy

Thank you for sharing your experiences and sorry to hear of your losses. It has really helped as I have been in 2 minds as to whether try this cycle after an after an early mc a few weeks ago, or not. I feel ready and reading your experiences has helped me decide we'll try. Hope we all get sticky beans very soon.

I had a mc at 6+3 on Jan 16th 09 and got my BFP on 14th Feb 09 (Valentines Day) so it can happen!

I saw my little Button at his/her 9 week scan and then also at the 3 month scan... my midwife said it's very commom for women to fall pg straight after a mc.
