And how did you find it??

I'm seriously considering doing a degree with them but I'm doing some research first!

LO is 8 months old, we're TTC #2 and I work part time in the afternoons... am I totally crazy thinking this could work?!

xxx

Not at all! I do my degree with OU full time, so it takes 3 years (you can do it in 6 if you prefer) and although it's hard work sometimes as I'm also a full time SAHM, I'm finding it so much better than normal university (I did two years of 'proper' uni before LO) and I am really enjoying it.

That's fab hun!

I only lasted 2 months at proper uni as I missed home and working too much! I always said i'd go back to studying so I think this is the way to go xx

It really is brilliant. I have been so impressed with it and it suits me much better than traditional university. What were you thinking of studying?

No. I started mine when LO was 8 weeks old.

I've only been doing it a couple of months and though it is definitely hard work I am so glad I started it. Traditional uni was always a dream of mine but not possible to commute when I have two children. I do definitely feel great about doing it.

Although that might not be the case when I am back at work next year, trying to run a house (OH is useless at cooking and housework so all my domain), looking after 2 kids, stressing about bills, learning to drive and finding the time to study that might be a task haha. But I still think it will be a thing I have done that I will not regret xx

I'm thinking psychology or social studies. I did Psychology at A-Level and loved it! My aim will be maybe to get into teaching one dayx

I absolutely loved OU I was studying with them until just before the boys were born, I plan to go back next year part time...

Im nearly finished a degree in Psychology with the OU. The course is fab, and it would be doable with an 8 month old
