Has anyone made a belly cast?

My brother sent me my sister in law's belly cast she had made by someone. He said it was one of the best things they did. Attached is a photo. I think it's beautiful. I'm trying to find someone on Long Island in New York. If anyone has any information please let me know.

The 'do it yourself' kits don't seem like they give you the beautiful end product that my sis in law had, but I would love to see pictures if anyone has done them or had them done.

I am getting mine done on the 13th of July when I'm 35 weeks. I cant wait till then. I am going to get the tops of my thighs and one arm in with it and have it all bronzed. I will post when I get it done.

Hi hun..I did mine myself with my mom and sister but if you want to get it done down here (in TN) alot of the places that do 3D scans also have belly cast services too and alot of them even have artists that they work with that will paint it or whatever for you..so might try looking up some of those places around you.... hope this helps!

The DIY kits really depend on your artistic ability and creativity. I made this one totally by myself (with the exception of DH helping with the actual casting part of it. I did the rest). It was a fun project. I would totally do it again (if i had time ) but if you can find someone to do it professional that would be fab as well x

All i used was a hot glue gun, some ribbon, and some fabric flowers from Michaels. Very inexpensive

I made one at 38 weeks but haven't decorated it. Will be using it as a prop in newborn photo shoot.
