Has anyone seen the film Early Man?

I'm wondering about taking my 3 and 5 year old to see this but as it's PG not U I'm just wondering if it'll be suitable. I've tried to see what makes it a PG and all I can find is mild bad language but I don't know what counts as mild! Has anyone seen it?

It also gets mixed reviews, was it any good? I don't want to spend the money if I'll just have 2 bored boys asking to leave after 20 minutes 😁

I can’t comment on the bad language, but my 5 year old cinema loving son went, and he got bored half way through, which is very unlike him.

My OH took our almost 6 year old boys and there was a moment with a sabre tooth bunny that one of my boys found a bit scary, so maybe that is why it has that rating? My boys quite liked it but were not raving about it and OH said he thought it was definitely not on par with for example the Wererabbit.

Ok that's really useful to know thank you. We've not been yet and I think I'll probably leave it for now but if we're stuck in one day and boys are going stir crazy it might be worth considering... 😁
