Today at work I did not see the water on floor (server on weekends in resturant, and when it gets busy I tend to get clumsy :/ )...anyways I am 19 weeks pregnant, and I kind of did a graceful fall onto my bum (enough padding  ) Caught myself on a counter as well. I didnt land very hard. But it definitely got me worried. I had to continute working. I did not feel any cramping, or anything. I feel completely fine and was able to walk away in no pain (even my bum).

My friend said she feel in her 2nd trimest on ice, and landed on her knees. She went to the E.R. just to be safe and everything was fine. Got me worried I should have gone right to E.R.??

Anyone else ever fallen?

You should be fine..Back when I was 13 weeks I tripped and fell on my stomach and I was sooo worried..and I called my midwife..and they told me to come in if I had any spotting or pain..but I was fine..It was a bit scary though.

Me! I tripped over and fell right on my bump on Friday - spent 6hrs up at A&E to listen to babys heartbeat and it all sounded fine :) I think its more shock and worry than anything else hey x

i fell several times when i was pregnant with my son i fell down my stairs my friends stairs in the street an i never thought bout going to a&e he kicked an let me know everything is ok i only went in when i fell down the stairs an i wanted to know what i could take an they told me i had to go in!
so i did an everythin was fine

I tripped over my cat on Friday night running to the phone and landed REALLY hard on a tiled floor. Am bruised all down my ribs and bum. Was distraught about it and considered going to a and e but have felt baby kicking plenty as normal so am presumming she's ok.

hope your little one is ok, glad it was a soft landing, in that note, everything should be just fine.

I would still go double check that everything is fine. No cramping is a good sign, but still do it just in case.

Im sure all is fine if there if you feel ok in genral but if your anything like me i wudnt be able need my mind putting at rest :)

When i was carrying my 1st child were going back 6 years now i was working in a care home at the time and i was pused down a flight of stairs by one of the residents there...i had no cramping or anything but still rang midwife just to put my mind at ease as im a constant worrier anyway.

Im sure all is fine hun x

I did a full on belly flop at 18 wks 2 days. I went to the er to get checked. Everything was just fine. I also fell again 3 days ago (I'm almost 24 wks) and landed on my knees. Babies kicking like mad. Babies are very well protected in there and most of the time are just fine. But its normal tob worry. But I'm sure your just fine, hun, and so is baby.

I fell going down my stairs about two weeks ago, slid down about five steps on my rear! Landed pretty hard but baby was fine and so was I other than a bruised ego and carpet burn on my butt (I was just wearing my undies!).

I think if you are worried about it call your doctor/midwife and see what they say.

I fell at 12 weeks down the stairs landed on my bum everythingvwas fine I was just a bit achey! Hope your ok! X

Last week
i fell, landed on my bum/hip area ... scary struff but knew i cudnt have done noharm to little one xx

I tripped over a plastic box and put my foot through it last week hit the top of my tummy off the edge of a chair but not near baby thankfully, just gave me a shock and a sore boobie lol

When I was pregnant with my daughter I fell trying to get my toddler son out of the car. My bum landed on the corner of the curb and my toddler landed on my bump really hard. I think it scared him more than me though.. all that padding he fell on and he screamed bloody murder anyway. I had a bruised butt for a bit but no harm to baby!!

I was seriously irritated though because I was 8mths pregnant in a park FULL of people and not one person offered to help. It was sad.

I fell around 14 weeks (ish) down about 8-9 of my stairs and hit the side of my tummy on my railing... was planning on going to the hospital that day anyways, as my sciatic nerve was terrible, and told her about the fall. She listened to baby's heart beat and everything was fine :) I wouldn't worry unless you start having cramps and spotting... then I would get checked out.
