Has anyone taken apart a bfn to see this?

Hi!
I know, I am a very curious person lol. I had a dollar store pregnancy test and i got a bfn 10 dpo 4 days before af. But as soon as the sample was put into the well, two horizontal lines went straight across and then faded away as the control line came. Anyways, it came across my mind 'i wonder what it looks like inside'. so, i took it apart. the line on the left hand side was the control line. The fainter line to the right was on the inside. it was too far to the right to be seen in the window. I dont know if this means anything or its just a way that it works? Anyone know what the line is? lol Hopefully there are people out there equally as curious as i am

It's just where the dye is on the test, when the end gets wet it runs up the stick & pushes the dye across the test to determine wether bfp or bfn x

Yes, I've taken tests apart before many times...I think most ttcers do, actually. I've seen lines like that at the edges of tests before. I think it's just where the dye pools, unfortunately.
