has anyone used the ovacue fertility monitor?

I'm thinking of selling my cbfm (doesn't work for me with such long cycles) and getting an ovacue fertility monitor. has anyone used it? Do you still use opks or should I sell those as well?

Ive used the ovacue for one cycle and got my bfp. It works and was the best investment. i wish i would have used it sooner

I have ttc for almost 3 years and wouldn't recommend the ovacue at all. At this point I have done every sort of ttc technique you can imagine-from checking cm, cp, opks, temping, monitors and fertility treatments, etc. I have always ovulated very regular and the ovacue has like, never been right. I've confirmed through temping and ultrasounds and everything yet ovacue always wants to do its own thing. And I used it totally correctly......so, I would say out of every ttc technique I've tried it's the least reliable and very expensive.

But if you are like me you may want to try yourself-anyone that is interested I'll happily sell my ovacue-I'm never using it again!

I have an OvaCue and I can honestly say it hasn't been right on my OV day yet, lol. If you can, I would recommend renting one to see if you like it.

I have found that good old OPKs and temping work best for me.

Hey-can you help me manifest a pumpkin too???? This is my THIRD Fall TTC for number #1-everyone I've ever known from every other seasonal bnb thread had a baby LONG LONG ago!!!!

Wow, were you guys using the older version? that one does work better and i only paid $250 not $400. It was worth it to me considering i was very irregular and could not see myself buying strips for a cbfm. Op maybe you should rent one for 6months and see how you like it. It did work for me and other people which is the reason i bought it. go to babybeat.com they have ovacue rentals

Lol. Let's see...I had tried to manifest a watermelon for summer, but that got me nowhere. I raised my right hand, placed my left hand on a box of tampons, and took the 'September Is Dead' oath.

Now I've moved on to pumpkins and we'll see how this goes...BTW, the manifesting came from a psychic who told me to 'manifest and take meds' in order to get my BFP.

If this does not work, you'll see me trying to manifest a turkey next month, lol.

I DID use the newer one..with the sensor and everything. Maybe that is the difference. How long were you trying for? I was super regular and it was probably a waste seeing how I confirmed ov through so many other methods-but I had been trying for about 2 years when I got it so I was just desperate that maybe I was missing something. Congrats on your bfp!!

Nope; this is for #2...I have a DD who's almost 15; I have been at this on and off for about 10 years.

I know, I know...should have gone to IVF by now, but I always keep thinking, maybe one more cycle.

I have had all of the testing, DH has had his stuff tested. I have been diagnosed with secondary and unexplained infertility; which means a bit fat hill of nothing, lol.

No, I don't have a journal bc I hate to talk about myself too much and no one would read it anyway. Lol.

What about you?

I'm so sorry you've had such a hard time of it with #2-that must be so frustrating after not having issues having #1! We are unexplained too-but I totally get not moving onto IVF-we actually just started IUI and I keep thinking how much simpler it would be just to get IVF over with, but niether myself nor DH wants to go that route.

I agree too with not wanting to talk about self-I had actually originally started a journal mainly to jot down all my symptoms, etc. each month-so that I would stop thinking I was pg every time something new happened. Having it in print, really helps to refer to and see-OH yeah-I already had sore nipples cycle 15 so even though I've forgotten by cycle 38 I know it's not a pg sign......anyway lately the journals are a real life saver b/c it is basically the only way I keep up with any of my fave bnb girls b/c I generally DREAD going into any ttc forums anymore....Normal ttc talk is crazy hard to read b/c it's so different where we are-and yet in many of the ltttc forums, well they have hope of an impending ivf cycle!

i used it for 1 cycle and i didnt buy the vaginal wand. only thing i did different was made myself orgasm right after and held up my legs for a few min. the monitor read me correct. i had plans this month to get accupunter, exercise, juicing, vitamns etc. although, i used it for one cycle i was testing it out for a few months before bc i was skeptical. ive been wanting to conceive naturally-no drugs and even made a thread about it but some ladies are so cruel so i stopped sharing on here We've been ttc for over 3yrs
