have I caught the egg?

So this is my first ovulation since my miscarriage I got a positive opk on wed and we bd 'd Tue evening and Wednesday evening (he was ill the last 2 days) I've read that it's best to bd before ovulation but ff says the 4 days after positive opk is when I'm fertile.
Have I missed it? Is it too late to try tonight?
With my son we got bfp from doing smep but that goes with the ff way which makes me think we missed it. i hope not .

Do you get ovulation pains? For me that is a strong Indicator that im ovulating. Im currently pregnant and prior to this I didn't use any tools just a gut feeling based on ovulation pain. We only bd once last month and now im 4 weeks pregnant just on my gut feeling and the ovulation pain and the extra discharge.

I was getting twinges for a few days on wed and Thursday so hopefully that was it.
