So... Now that its been a few days since my BFP. I'm no longer having mixed emotions, i'm on board. Lol. I was the one who posted that even though me and my husband have been actively trying, including seeing a fertility dr the last few months cause i was diagnosed with pcos and my hubby with slow swimmers, second dose of clomid took though anyway (i'm getting to the pt) i was having mixed emotions now i'm not.
I had the first blood test monday after 3 BFPs, the nurse called the next day, and said my HCG's looked high, really good. monday was 30 days from my last period, so i think that means i'm considered four weeks? Anyway, wednesday (two days later) they had me come in for another blood test. The nurse calls me today and was like the HCG level went up, but not as much as we'd like to see, it went up 300 or something like that... I was like "so is that bad" and she was like "it can be, we usually expect the numbers to double every 48 hrs". So i was all upset this after noon, she's was like "we're do another blood test tuesday" So i was a bit upset at work, like I told a few people family and close work friends and i really don't wanna have to tell them i lost it. But I was reading the HCG chapter in "what to expect when you're expecting..." and it says as long as the levels are going up thats fine, don't get upset about the numbers, no two women are alike, lots of reasons for the numbers varying, ie wrong due date, multiples, taking diuretics (i took midol tuesday nite before i found out it was bad).
So should i be concerned? I'm not having any spotting, sometimes i've been having a sharp pain just for a second, i'm super bloated, but really those are the only symptoms i'm having. I was having other symptoms too a few days ago, nauseate, fatigue, headaches, backaches. So i'm also concerned the symptoms aren't as strong :/
