hcg trigger....

Received first hcg trigger shot in the mail. An I the only one who is freaking out at this point of giving shots at home? Or just please tell me to suck it up.

Hi there! I haven't ordered mine yet, but am scheduled to do so at the beginning of my next cycle if this one doesn't work out. Are you going to give it to yourself or have your partner do it? I'm definitely going to have my partner do mine- no way I could do it to myself! they assured me that it was easy.... good luck!!

I hope it is easy! I think I might have a family friend do it who is a nurse. I just not sure me or my hubby can do it haha we are wimps

good idea! my husband is a nurse practitioner so that makes the decision easy to have him do it.

I was scared to death of mine, they only stung a couple of times. I planned on DH doing mine, but he got up at 430am and left for work by 5am, so I did it.

I placed the needle where I wanted it,then looked at the ceiling,and then pushed it in. It worked for me

My friend said no way could she ever give herself needles, I just laughed and said that's what I always said too... But when you want something this bad,you will do it!

Good luck, I just finished our first round if ivf and it wasn't that bad with the needles. Getting blood taken is worse

Wow your brave! How many shots with ivf?. And how did things go with it?

All up maybe 12-14 shots I gave myself. Orgalutron, ovidrel, and puregon, then the trigger.

It was our first time. And I wet to theatre for egg retrieval on CD11. We got 5 eggs, and had to do ICSI due to low count. Now we have one embie inside that stuck and is growing, and 4 frozen ones so it went pretty good! I was expecting the worst I'm afraid.

Fingers crossed you get your bfp it's so much to go through but will be worth it for sure! xx
