My husband is like that too! If I try and help or advise he tells me to butt out, but if he gets stressed then I'm expected to jump in and take over!

He doesn't clean her bum properly either sometimes.....

I have the total opposite problem he will take 10 minutes making sure it is completely clean. Not a good idea with a boy, tell him in a nice way to make sure she's clean.

My OH is the same. Some days he does really well, and tries so hard.

The last couple of days, he hasnt cleaned her bum properly, doesnt follow her bedtime routine (over stimulates her before putting her in crib, resulting in 1 - 2 hours of screaming, and me trying to calm and settle her) and today, because for the 1st time I left him in charge of the night shift, he's STILL in bed, refuses to get up, moaning that he's tired.

Mine too. He will take the diaper off and start playing with him on the bed whose covers I changed 3 times that day, and wonders why the covers are wet.

Mine likes to absolutely SMOTHER LO's bum in nappy cream (even though she doesn't have nappy rash) so that it looks like he's applied it with a trowel
