He wont drink from anything but the breast!

I've been exclusively BF since Charlie was born but have now started to wean on the HV recommendations cuz he stopped putting on weight.

He is doing beautifully eating from a spoon & were having so much fun trying new foods. Me as well... I'd never eaten butternut squash or sweet potato before! lol

Anyway my problem is getting him to drink from anything but the boobie! I've tried various bottles, a sippy cuppy & even a doidy cup. He loves the doidy cup & puts it in his mouth no probs as he should... but when he gets a mouthful he spits it out!

He is such a boobie monster that I thought he would immediateloy start drinking breastmilk from a cup but he just spits it out.


Does anyone have any ideas why? or how I can stop him doing it?

Have you tried the playtex bottles "natural feel" they make them in soft rubber that resembles the boob ..worked well for us
