If you are currently pregnant, living in the UK and over 16 years of age, you may be eligible to take part in an exciting new European wide survey which concentrates on the health and lifestyle of pregnant women.
This survey is being carried out by a specialist group of midwifes, pharmacists doctors and scientists from all across Europe, who are being organised and lead by the European Medicines Agency (ema.europe.eu).
At the moment we know very little about the health and lifestyle choices of pregnant women, and how these can affect the health of their babies. We want to investigate the best way to collect this type of data as well as trying to find out how much information pregnant women are willing to tell us about themselves and their pregnancies. By taking part in this survey your information will mean that health care professionals like your midwife, nurse or doctor can better understand what affects your pregnancy and your baby.
The only way to do this is by collecting information directly from women like you. The survey is designed to require minimal effort and fit in with your everyday life. We will be collecting information using a secure website or telephone system. The survey will consist of short questionnaires which you can complete as little or as often as you like.
