I don't really see what there is to despise about the 10 things I hate about BFing post. She's obviously pro-Breastfeeding, and at a later date did a 10 things I love... post. I think it's quite an honest post, and more people grit their teeth and get through it because it's best for baby than love BFing, especially when talking about a younger baby!

Eh, I guess I don't hate it. I mean the only thing that was hard was clusterfeeding. I was one of those freaks whose baby took to it like a fish to water and never had cracked nipples or blocked ducts. He never struggled with latching and still latches himself to this day. Hey ho.

That's impressive! I still have to support my one boob the whole time, and he still has days where his latch is crap and he makes me sore. I suppose I can relate to, not hating, but certainly not enjoying, BFing, but doing it anyway for LO :) I wish he would latch by himself - it's a pain in the night when I can't see a thing and he's being useless!

Sorry for going OT!

I do think HVs are more hindrance than help. I wouldn't go to one with an actual problem. I heard one telling another mom at the last clinic I went to to leave her LO to cry it out, otherwise he'd never self settle :dohh:
