Heart rate at 6 weeks

I had my second ultrasound today, first was at 5w4d and it was too early to see Splotch (what we've taken to calling it). Today, I had one and I got to see it! It was amazing and I sobbed. The heart rate was 118. Anyone care to compare if you've had an early scan and gotten a heart rate? I'm just being paranoid.

I had mine at 6 weeks exactly, it was 117, then again at 6w 5d, and it was 144!

Congrats. I had mine last Monday @ 6w1d- 150bpm. Going back on the 13th, hope things are still going well.

Love the pic, by the way, it looks exactly like mine did at 6 weeks! When I had kidney stones and was given an emergency u/s 4 days later, it was so much bigger (wish I got a pic) it was crazy!

I get to go back next Wednesday for another, I've had multiple m/c's so I'm getting multiple ultrasounds, I can't wait to see how much bigger it is!

my scan at 6.6 weeks was 123bpm from what I understand the heart rate will pick up different depending on what kind of US you got..belly..or vag. Mine was belly so I guess HB may have been higher had it been a vag..either way tech and ob said HB was prefect.

When I was 6 weeks, 6 days my baby's heart beat was 153. I think he was racing around my uterus at the time!

That's a good heart rate for that gestation. At the 5 - 6 week mark it's worrisome if the heartrate is less than 85... Your babes HR is well above that mark!

Low for boy, high for girl. With DD, her heart rate was mostly 160's so maybe it is a boy....I'd love to have a boy!

Yeh,my 2 boys heart rates were about the 120 mark or slightly under.Can't wait til we can hear this 1!!Just a few more wks to wait!

Your hubby has great taste in names!!We spell ours oran but all pronounced the same.Its actually not very common over here either!

I had a scan done at 6w3d and the babes heart rate was 119 and the tech told us that was completely normal, so you sound good!
