Hi, do I heat puree till it is at the temperature he will take it at or till it is piping hot and then let it cool a bit? thanks

I've always heated it to a little bit above the temperature he will take it and give it a good stir so it'll cool but not quick enough so that by the time he's half-way through it it's cold again...iykwim?

lI've never gone to pipping hot cos i always make it when he's ready for it and see no need as little one will take it cold any how..it may be different the if the food is home-made with meat in as i know meat has to be pipping hot after re-heating before serving.

If food is being re heated, it must be re heated until piping hot then cooled. That goes for everything, not just puree.
