Hi ladies, not been on here for some time but think I need some moral support lol.

Me and my partner have been tic for the best part off five years, we have had blood tests, sperm counts etc and there is no reason medically we cannot get pregnant it's just not happening.

To be honest I am broken hearted, I just can't settle in my life , I also feel time is slipping away. I really feel empty.

I spend all my spare time on the Internet, reading about tic, babys other womanise birth storys to the point I am obsessed . I just hope that 2012 is our year x

Hi Purplerain! Welcome and I'm sorry you're having such a tough time TTC, my DH & I are facing some issues as well. I recently found the ladies here and they are wonderful with support and often making you laugh.

I agree, five years is a long time. I know what you mean about not feeling settled. Hope this is not rude of me to ask, but have you and your partner looked into getting some sort of assistance from a fertility specialist?

I know it can be difficult but hang in there. We have been trying for 3 years now for #2 and it's disheartning some months...I have been prego a few times but lost them all.
The other issue with us is both my DH and my self have genes for CF(Cystic Fibrosis)..I have a mutation and my husband has a classic. My daughter got both genes from us and the doctor explained that if we have a boy this time around with the same combination he would be infertile..So he wouldn't 'actually' get CF but he could have odd symptoms..It can be discouraging when you have to decide whether or not to risk it..But I still feel the 25% chance isn't that great so we are still trying....Baby dust to you!!!!!!
