hi, am new to anything like this but thought it would be nice to meet other mums and mums to be as there are not many people i have shared my news with other than family and 1 close friend.....on friday i told the father who i split with in january, there are no chances of a reconciliation but thought it only fair that he knows, he is also the father of my 3 year old boy and i see him every 5 weeks when he picks up our son to stay at his for a week so he was gonna notice very soon so thought it best coming from me rather than him noticing and wondering why i had failed to ever mention it....we have a complicated and volatile past but had been getting on quite well recently which is obviously best where my little boy is concerned.
i found out i'm expecting a girl which is amazing as the fathers family is all boys....first female in about 70 years.
i'm apprehensive over an unideal situation but thrilled for a little sister for my son.....anyway just wanted to say hi
