Hello everyone
I've just joined as I just had to comment on the metformin debate...I have just started Metformin today with a 3month boost of Norithisterone to get my cycle on track.
I was diagnosed with PCOS 10years ago (to date) have NEVER had any kind of regular cycle, so here's hoping with the metformin, etc.
But I just wanted to say to anyone TTC/WTC that I had a little girl in July 2007, following 5 years of trying...it was a perfect pregnancy and a really smooth birth experience. She is great and now a cheeky 21-month old!
Like many others I have always been a bit on the "plump" side but 3 years ago I lost 3.5 stone and then conceived...which many people said might happen.
I have had some menstrual probs lately so they have prescribed Metformin to help keep weight on track and to help hormones, as we'd like to be cheeky and try for a second baby.
Anyway, good luck to everyone - I look forward to reading & posting.
ttfn, Helenxxx
