Hi Ladies, hope you don't mind me popping in to introduce myself.
I've recently had my BFP and am over the moon. I'm 43, I had my first baby at 41. But it all feels a bit overwhelming this time round.
My toddler son is a bundle of energy and I just feel so exhausted. This isn't helped by problems at work which is making me thoroughly depressed.
Also I'm a little nervous by this pregnancy as last time I had an NT scan which showed the risk of DS as being higher than 1 in 5. Thankfully the amnio showed no problems and my little boy is perfect but it was such a worrying time that I've decided not to have any tests done this time. What will be will be, no point worrying about it.
And to top it all off, last time I suffered badly from SPD which the midwives didn't seem to bother about when I went into labour (epidural & then forceps) and I was left unable to move for 6 weeks and had to undergo a year of physio to help everything get back to normal.
Phew... sorry for the rant - I just need to meet a few friendly people for a chat who may be in the same position as me. Hope I haven't scared you all off lol!
