Hello & OHSS

Hello all,

I'm new to the site. Just found out last week that I'm pregnant with twins as a result of IVF (1st go!). It's been (and still is a tough road) as I've just spent three weeks in hospital with severe OHSS (Ovarian Hyper Stimulation Syndrome).

I would really like to hear from anyone else who has suffered this condition and how long it took for symptoms to subside and to feel 'normal' again. I feel pretty darn miserable all the time (my poor husband!), am in a fair bit of pain and just to top it off now have morning sickness too.

I'm just waiting for that 'happy and excited gene' to kick in...

Am I normal to be this miserable when I should be really happy? Any tips on morning sickness other than ginger biscuits would be greatly recieved also - thanks to you all.

welcome, sorry I dont have any advice about your condition. I remember feeling low when I caught, I think it was all the hormones, they do settle a bit though.
