I'm new here. I just had my first scan - we though we were 8 weeks along but the scan measured me at 7. I've had some spotting off and on and so I'm feeling pretty worried although the baby was there with a strong heart beat.
they also said there was a very small area of seperation ( I guess the placenta) so I am due to go back in a couple of weeks for another scan.
Has anyone else had any of these things?

oh also - very little symptoms - although today I did actually feel pretty nauseaus in the morning but can't tell if that was nerves.

I'm longing to be all happy - but feel I'm in a terrible waiting game.

ADDED SEVERAL MONTHS LATER:
Sadly I went on to have a miscarriage at 10 weeks. The baby had stopped growing at 8 weeks and it was termed a missed-miscarriage.

I had spotting on and off for a handful of weeks started around week 6 I think (poss late into week 5) & maybe carried on until maybe 10 weeks (honestly can't remember). I had no real symptoms other than tender breasts yet one day they would be fine or for a couple of days running. I experienced nausea a couple of times no sickness & didn't even experience the nausea until later in first trimester - saying that can't be sure it was pregnancy related.

The waiting game between scans however is painful - try your best to stay calm & wish you lots of luck.

HB found is an important sign x
