It has caffeine in, it's not it's main purpose, but the caffeine plus the glucose makes it an energy drink. https://www.lucozade.com/energy/Default.aspx --> click on FAQs at the side, and 'original'
ETA: from what I can find out, it has as much caffeine in as coke, possibly more actually.
Loo = toilet? I don't know if thats known or not haha. and I remember seeing on a cooking show once that you say scallion instead of spring onion over there too.

lol i DO hear you all mention "pies" a lot though! like when referring to your bump looking like you've eaten too much, i hear (well, READ) a lot of people saying it looks like they've eaten too many pies. does this refer to pies like... apple pie? i don't understand what a meat pie is. not sure if americans even eat/make meat pies, and i think that's because i'm of hispanic origin - i don't really cook much "american" food lol
i've read some on this thread laughing at the word "fanny". it's funny that you guys use it to refer to the... other area lol but i crack up here in the US to hear ANYONE say fanny! it's an older term that isn't heard often.
A chav is maybe your equivalent to trailer trash without the living in the trailer!!! No body lives in trailers (caravans to us) we just go on holiday (vacation!) in them sometimes!! You would call someone chavvy usually if they were young, had a big mouth on them , spoke in a certain way and wore particular clothes!!
