Hi
I am supposed to have IVF at the end of the month and totally feel as if someone is playing a practical joke on me. I have Graves disease and have had my thyroid removed. I have been stable on my medications and have always been in the low/normal range with my TSH meaning that I am borderline hyperactive on treatment. My endo had wanted to get me in a more therapeutic zone and reduced my synthroid. Well I got a phone call today that my TSH is high (3.4). I am aware that this is not therapeutic as far as treatment (endo and IVF) goes and that high levels can have bad consequences. I have called my RE and talked to her nurse who didn't seem to know why I was telling her this. She said she would tell my RE but I am wondering if anyone has been in this situation? Did you have to cancel your cycle or did they just monitor you closer to egg retrieval???
Help or insight would be appreciated.
Thanks!
