Hi there ladies,
I'm need help deciding between two nursing pillows.

Double Sided Boppy

My Brest Friend

I didn't like the "regular" one I had when I nursed my son. It was too small and squishy. I want one the supports the baby right at your breast. I'm leaning towards the Boppy, but can't find it at a store nearby so I can't see it in person before I buy it. I like the front of My Brest Friend, but am not sure I want something behind my back. Did you find the back support a nuisance?

Which one did you like and why?

Thanks

It's not exactly the same but I have the original boppy and I love it. It's very firm so supports baby and keeps him in place. It sits just under the breasts and is very comfortable to use. Wouldn't be without it.

I loved my brest friend pillow. But it broke in one week I think was the fabric that wasn't good but anyway I just ordered a new cover for my pillow. I'm a first time mom so was a little bit of traumatic start breastfeeding without a support pillow at least I learned faster. The support of that pillow was very good in the hospital when I had trouble with the latch.

I have a my breast friend and I love it. The strap around the back holds the pillow in place so you can actually get up and move around while nursing baby. It acts as kinda like a platform right at nipple level. If u don't need to strap it around you, you can always just use it like a boppy.

Same as icegurl. I've never tried a Boppy to compare, though.

I have both a boppy and a Brest friend. I actually ended up using my brest friend pillow more. It secured tightly to you and I felt like it gave baby more support and I could do other things with my hands. I like the boppy but if I had to chose one I'd chose the Brest friend pillow.

I know the Brest Friend is really popular, and we had one, but it didn't work for me. I found that it didn't give me enough back support. We used a Twin Z pillow, although I would have preferred that even if we didn't have twins. It's like a double boppy, but you get so much back support when you fold the middle part up. It was originally made for twins, but would be totally perfect with just a singleton. If you want to see it, I have a link to it on my favorite products list. I hope it helps! https://www.theydontfeedthemselves.com/newborn-twin-baby-product-must-haves/
