I hadn't planned on testing this morning - was going to give it a break, until I just took my temp and it had spiked. Usually, temp is on it's way down (and it was up until today).

Soooo, I said what the hell, and took another FRER - totally new box, different lot number than ALL the previous ones. It took a little longer, but that second line is there I think I'm convinced now - these tests must be soooo SUPER sensitive. I'll just need a couple of days for them to get darker and go back to the doctor next week if/when they do!

So I tested again this morning, with FRERs from two different boxes and one faint BFP and one glaring BFN. No AF, so I guess just wait and see. I never thought that early testing would be this stressful - I was just one that wanted to know as early as possible. Turns out, I don't know any more than I did a couple of days ago, but I'm stressed and have spent extra $$ on more tests. Ugh.

AF is due tomorrow, so I guess by Tuesday I will know something (I hope).

I had this same issue with FRER last cycle - I tested at 12dpo, 13dpo and 14dpo with FMU, and all 3 came up with a faint second pink line. I was pretty sure I was preggo but a little concerned that the lines weren't darkening with each day. On the day that AF was due, I took a digi and was a BFN - lo and behold AF showed up that day. I was so bummed!! I never had a blood test, but I had signs of pregnancy, and I was certain that I was. I think it was definitely a chemical pregnancy, which are very common. Most of the time people don't even know about them because they don't test early. This may or may not be what's happening to you - I hope not!! - but if it is, just know that they are very common. After the heartache from last cycle, I've sworn off early testing! FX for you though

Do you happen to have the lot # of those FRERs?

This morning's tests - both with FMU. The pics were taken at 3 minutes. The BFP showed within 30 seconds or so. These were from different boxes, different lot #s.

I only have one IC left - will try it tomorrow morning. The other ICs I have tried have been BFN. CB digi was BFN, and just now, a Dollar General one was BFN.

I'm still so confused.

13dpo now - and either I'm clearly having early preggo symptoms, or my head is playing serious tricks on me. I nearly barfed in the mall restroom today because of the way it smelled in there (and that NEVER bothers me), my boobs are huge and sore, I'm exhausted by 4 in the afternoon, I'm peeing all the time and I've had very mild cramps for the last 4-5 days. This is so stressful!!

I unfortunately don't have the lot#...I threw the box out. I know what you mean though! I was having early preggo symptoms too! I know when we want something so bad our minds can play tricks on us...so who knows
Your test looks exactly like mine did, though - maybe your levels are just super low right now? I really think I was preggo but just MC'd super early..

there was another thread recently about frer confusing results, and it was around the same time I was testing - the girl I'm thinking about ended up not pregnant, but had clear positive results on the frer - maybe they did have a bad lot! UGH....this is why I hate early testing!

My husband gets home on Tuesday. I have 2 FRER from the "positive" lot group. I think I'm going to save one and have him pee on it to see what happens.

I squinted and twisted and turned that thing and I never could make out a line (my eyes aren't the greatest though).
