Help??? going insane!!

Hi all, I was just wondering who all takes aspirin while ttc?? What dosage do you take and do u take it all the time or just after bfp??

Quick update with me - tryn 2 and half years with 4 miscarriages! Just finished 3 cycles of clomid got 2 bfp on clomid but mc both! I take aspirin daily 75mg! I went to get a 2nd opinion today and doc told me I had no need to take it until I got bfp but my usual doc told me it's best to be takin it for 12 weeks before conception!! I am due to get bloods done this week to test karyotype, does anyone know anything of this, how long it takes etc??

Also today at 2nd opinion doc he asked me when my mc happened, I told him Oct 2011 Feb 2012 sept 2013 and Oct 2013 all 5-7 weeks! He laughed at me and told me I couldn't have had two mc two months in a row!!! But I can't understand, Sept 2013 was a cup, period was only 2 days late so I tried again ovulation on cd 14 got a bfp and mc again so I don't see why I could mc in see and October!! Hope that makes sense!!

I feel like I'm going mad!! Any advice is very welcome!!

I don't have any advice for you, but I just wanted to say something real quick. I have been TTC#2 for almost 2 years now, but I have a son who is 6 years old. I have never had a MC before, and am very thankful for that. it's just a little hard for us to concieve due to low sperm count. But I admire women like you who go through so much. You are an inspiration, I can tell you are a strong women, and I wish the best for you and all the ladies out there who have ever lost a baby, you really are wonderful strong beautiful ladies!

Hi youngmommy!! I also have a son who is coming 6!! Are you 26?? Well thanks for that lovely message!! I don't feel strong at all! It's hard but I try not to think about it and just concentrate on positive thinking about it all!! Did you have any trouble concieveing your son?! I didn't have any trouble at all!! 3 years on the trouble all started and now 2 1/2 years after the trouble is still happening!!

Oh we'll just pick ourselves up and carry on!! Nothing else for it!! Thank you lovely!!!

I just turned 27 in September. I didn't really have any problems with my son. about 14 months after I got off the pill and I was pregnant. Right after I had my c-section with him I had the Mirena IUD put in, and wore it for about 4 years. Then me and DH wanted to try for another one. Went to the Dr. to have it removed and it had migrated up into my uterus further, so I had to have it surgically removed. Now i'm having a really hard time conceiving. I don't know if the 2 are related because the Mirena didn't embed in my uterus or anything, it was just floating around in there. they had to dialate me and then got it out that way. But we are still going to keep trying. I'm gonna give myself another 5 years, if it hasn't happened by then, i'm just going to count my losses.

Can you clarify something about the Sep and October MC? You said you were 2 days late for your period in September...did you get a BFP? If you did but AF still showed then it was considered a "chemical pregnancy" which most doctors don't consider MC because if you didn't test your period would have come on anyway and you would have just been a little late....also did you get you HCG levels tested after BFP? For miscarriages they follow you HCG levels until they return to zero/negative to make sure the MC is complete. Otherwise there could be left over tissue (products of conception) that can get infected....all my miscarriages were at 8 weeks. I didn't have any bleeding..,just found out at the ultrasound that the pregnancy wasn't viable. I had surgery for 2 of them and I let my body miscarry naturally with the 3rd one (which too several weeks)
As far as testing goes I had a RPL (recurrent pregnancy loss) panel done and it includes a long list of basic infertility testing such as a karyotype. Depending on what lab they use it could take up to 3 weeks for results. Is this the ONLY test they are doing???
I took aspirin (81mg) from O to AF or 14 weeks of pregnancy. I wouldn't suggest doing it before O as it may cause intermittent spotting/bleeding. It can also cause heavy bleeding if you take it during AF.
