This is my second cycle of IUI. For the first cycle they did the injection at the office. But on top of the complicated mixing inustructions, they told me to have my Hubby do the injection, which he just simply could not do. As soon as he saw the long needle he freaked out. That left me trying to do it myself - and I am pretty sure I did not do it right. I really couldn't find any online tutorials about injecting on mixing, so I am sure I got that part right. But I know I didn't stick the needle in far enough to do a Intramuscular injection. HELPPPP! Will it still work? My Dr's office opens in half hour so I will call them then but I just want some relief. I actually have some Ovridrel in the fridge which I was prescribed by my regular dr until I found out about the research study I am in. The Ovridrel - you inject just below the skin. I was tempted to do one of those but I didn't want to overdose/ take to much and mess something up. IUI scheduled tomorrow and I hope I didn't ruin anything
