Hi i am here to say the stuff others didnt say to me when i had my son....how do i know my child is normal......scarily if it is your first born like me you dont know,but there are pointers to alert you to things if they arent as they should be..... Keep an eye out...is your child maintaining eye contact...listen is your child crying constantly..... Watch....does your child seem interested in toys he should be watching,,,like mobiles and other people....does he respond to your voice,or does it seem like he isnt interested...like he has seen it all before maybe and nothing is as new and exciting as you thought it would be to him...... Keep a note in your red book and ask your health visitor to keep a close eye on hin mf any of these first 4 things ring a bell with you.... Development delays are on the increase and early diagnosis is crucial.....it may be what you dont want to hear but please be alert for these few early warning signs i wish i had known about them earlier.
