for there to be a line there has to be some hcg in your body and my doc told me the only way to have hcg in the system is if your pregnant or on fertility meds, so i would say its definatly a BFP for you congrats x

Here's my update:
Ok, so, I just got my blood test results back.
Not pregnant levels are 0-4. Normal levels in the very early stages of pregnancy are 40-6000.
My level is 18 which means that I'm pregnant.
I'm going back Monday to take another blood test and urine test. I'll know more then. My doctor thinks I may have conceived late in my cycle or something. She is concerned that I may have an ectopic (tubal) pregnancy, which means the baby didn't get all the way to the womb and is stuck in my fallopian tubes, which could explain why my levels are so low. I'll keep you posted.
It is all in limbo for now....

I'm thinking I conceived late since I took a test Saturday night and BFN. Tested twice yesterday (Tuesday) and BFP- but light lines. Pray for me.....

It will all be fine. You'll get the results on Monday and your levels will have increased just perfectly. Positive thinking does the trick!

BTW - congrats on the BFP. I'm sure it will all be okay and you just conceived late.

I hate to do this but I want to be truthful with you as well as wish you lots of luck at this stage that you did indeed conceive later in your cycle and this is just your hCG levels starting.

My ectopic was caught early by a positive pregnancy test - The docs test was negative the hospital test was negative (so much for more sensitive shit they tell you) we took a CB in with us would you believe for them to takeus serious. My levels would have been VERY low for their naff tests to show negative but they slowlyyyyy increased and indeed it was an ectopic. Above all as time has gone on I have thanked my lucky stars that it was caught so early although heartbreaking - ectopic pregnancies that go on for a number of weeks (your NOT in any danger zone now) can cause horiffic results and are very threatening to you (not if caught so isn't a danger to you either IF thats whats happening). Lets just hope this isn't an ectopic but as your doc says your levels with no bleeding may indicate this and you are lucky to catch it now - Another possibility is a chemical (just no bleeding yet) again something that happened to us over an over again

Sorry to be so negative if thats how I appear just I wanted to be honest after our experience ... my fingers are crossed for you next blood count.

I truly DO appreciate your honesty. That's definitely what I'm looking for. No sugar coating! I'll stay positive and hopeful. I bought some more HPT's so I'm hoping my levels increase and the lines get darker. What a rollercoaster of emotions! I'm definitely worrying but I may still be healthy. I haven't had any cramps, bleeding, etc. so I'm hoping that's all a good sign. Keep the honest stuff coming! I need it!

Hope everything goes alright! It is good to know all the possibilities of what could be going on. If it is an ectopic preg than you caught it early enough not to have it harm you. Best of luck getting through until your next appointment!! Hang in there, no matter what!

I took a test again this morning to see if the line would be darker. It is indeed a bit darker and definitely wider. My levels must be going up then! I sure hope so. I'll know a lot more on Monday. I sure hope all is well.....
