hi everyone
i'm really scared i started getting cramps not sure if this is normal or not the first month of BFP. Did anyone get cramps the first month of bfp.

I think most of the girls had AF like cramps in the start. Im sure its nothing to worry about. :) If you are really concerned, I would phone your Dr.

thanks you, i called the Dr office and they said as long as i dont have blood not to worry.. But i'm scared and i cant stop worring . I keep going to the bathroom to check but i dont have nothing...

Hey there.

No need to be worried. It's perfectly normal. As long as the pains aren't very painful and accompanied by blood there's nothing to be alarmed about.

Cramps similar to premenstrual cramps are common in the first 6 - 8 weeks of pregnancy. Heck I still have the occasional one at 10 weeks.

It's just your uterus expanding and preparing itself for the baby.

Congrats!

all good advice above...... :)
Congrats xx

yep cramps r very very common. i know they can be scary..... this is my 2nd and when i 1st found out i was constantly going to the loo 2 check!
You'll feel better soon, try 2 relax (easier said than done i know!!) but as long as there's no blood u'll be ok!! xx

Yes quite common to think AF is on its way . .I think a lot of ladies go on knicker watch:hugs:

All the comments before are good. Even though I know it's nothing to worry about, only yesteday I had what I would describe as af cramping and expecting to start af any time. I checked and there was nothing. After I had mc, I worry at every little sign. Pleas try not too, we can support each other on here. Thank god for this forum :)

I had some mild cramping for a couple of weeks after my BFP. My GP told me it was nothing to worry about unless the cramping got severe or was accompanied by bleeding. I know it can be very worrying, but try not to stress yourself too much over it. :hugs:

I've had cramps on and off since :bfp:. Just your body adapting and stuff!. :hugs:

Hey hun!!!
Try not to worry I know it is easier said then done but you'll find that you worry about everything in you first trimester!
A few weeks ago i worried about cramps and pains etc went for a scan everythin turned out to be fine.
Chin up!!!
xxx

Hey, as everyone has said, try not to worry. I myself had cramps for the first few weeks. I felt it the most when i was lying down. Im 8wks gone and havent had one for some time.

thanks everyone, this makes me feel much better. The cramps come and go, but just haveing everyone one here make me feel much better.

My husband has been great he is doing everything for me so i can just rest and take it easy.

THANK YOU EVERYONE.

I'm about 7 and a half weeks, and i get cramps still. I have had them since day 1. :hissy: hehe. It really does suck sometimes.

I've gotten them REALLY bad a couple times where i could hardly move. I was so scared i called the doctor and they said that as long as my cramps dont get that bad every time and as long as there is no bleeding than i am fine.

Something that has worked great for my cramps is getting a damp washcloth and putting it over your uterus area. It does wonders. I hope that will help.

All normal babe, I also expected to see AF for like the first 20 weeks! x

Completely agree! great advice! I think I am about 8 weeks now and I still get cramps my doc said everything just changing and expanding xx
I almost see it as a reminder that there is something in there if that sounds weird as sometimes I forget as I just want proof that there is a little person inside me!
