Roise is pretty but I think people will read it as Rosie. At first glance I saw it as Rosie, so for that reason I say Eimear.

I'd say so, sorry! How about Aoife? It still has that 'ee' sound at the start like Eimear does but isn't quite so similar to Dad's name.

Ooh I met a little Eimear just last week, I'd never heard the name before but I thought it was lovely. She was really sweet so that made me like it more . So Eimear gets my vote!
