HELP!!! Moses basket and stand????

Im going to sound really stupid here so here goes! do all moses basket stands fit all moses baskets or if for instance you buy a mamas and papas stand do you have to buy mamas and papas basket or can you use say the stand with a basket from somewhere eles???

this is the only thing i have left to buy and ive got myself bit confused!

I've got a mamas and papas basket on a folding mothercare stand and it's fine! I had a rocking stand from mothercare with a M&P basket with my son and that worked out fine too xxx

I have my moses basket and stand from Argos BUT the when assemling the argos stand, it is adjustable depending on the size of your moses basket. I think most can be adjusted to your requirement.

Yep! I've borrowed a Mamas and Papas stand and the moses basket I bought from Mothercare fits fine in it. The stand had little adjustable plastic straps to hold different size baskets. I just put it all up today!

I think i'm just going to put the moses basket in the cot .. rather than buy a stand for it too ...

That's exactly what I have done with my moses basket on a night Flipsy!

Mine have all slept better in the moses basket, than the actual cot until they were about 3-4 mths old!

my basket fits on a standard stand,

but just to throw a spanner in the works here , my friend had a prem little boy and had not put there basket and stand together, so whilst he was in neo natel and she went home and did fit them , they didn't fit , she had the stand already from her little girl but had to go get new stand,

i know it was they baby k mosses basket from mothercare and just a standard rocking stand, but had to get the actual baby k stand aswell in the end

There are different size moses baskets and stands but there not much difference. I bought the hugs and kisses moses basket from babies r us and a mothercare rocker. The rockers is a little big for the moses basket but only give or take an inch. Should be able to tell the dimensions on the boxes x

i got my moses basket from mothercare and got my rocking stand from a local nursery in town. its a 'clair de lun' stand, straps at the back and front adjust to fit ur moses basket and u can also puncture ur own holes if the ready made holes arnt suitable. the stand was 22.95 in the nursery but online its 25.99. xx hope this helps
