Help! My baby smells like vinegar!

Right, recently I noticed that Scarlett had quite stinky feet! I give her a bath every other day, and have noticed in the past week or so that she really smells of vinegar, even straight after her bath! Her head kind of smells like a mixture of baby shampoo and vinegar! Is it normal to have this much of a smelly baby?

Just made a cardinal sin and googled. seems its quite common, could even be an ear infection so maybe take her for a check up

Hi, I wouldn't say that my baby smells of vinegar but I have noticed that her poo's definitely do! I googled it to find that I'm not alone, it's quite common in breastfed babies apparently so in my case I'm putting it down to that but if you're worried then there's no harm seeking advice from your HV or GP.

Nolan was (still is kind of) a sweaty baby, when he would sweat it smelled like vinegar. I would just lotion him up if people were coming over. Now at 5 months he still sweats but does not smell like vinegar.

I've noticed that if Jenna has been sweating through the night, her head can smell a bit like vinegar. I think it is just sweat though

i made a thread like this when my lo was tiny. she had reflux and her spit stunk of vinegar! i have heard it can be linked to an ear infection if the smell is around her head? but if she seems fine in herself i would worry about it!

my LOs feet smell of vineger lol .. i think it may be because he has sweaty feet lol x

My LO's poo's (formula fed)used to smell like vinegar, and my brother has got a little boy (breast fed) and his do too lol.
