My LO is now 11 weeks. He has alwasy been a bit sicky after each feed, but for the last few weeks he has been screaming each time I take the bottle away to wind him. I thought he maybe just didnt have wind as he was a bit older and we have been using Dr Brown bottles, so I thought they maybe were helping.

Plus it was horrible watching him scream. Over the last few weeks we increased his formula to around 7oz, but he seems to be even more sick now after every feed and still screaming at the end of each bottle as if he was still hungry but bringing quite a bit of it back up.

The sick he is bringing up is really thick, but quite often clear, not like just normal possetting. He has also always had hiccups, and has no problems at all sleeping through the night, so I just dont know what to do.

Does anyone else have this experience? Should I try hungry baby milk?

Help, feeding him is such a worry now because he seems to be in so much pain.:cry::cry::cry::cry::cry::cry::cry::cry::cry::cry::cry:

Sounds like my lo Hun!! Could be reflux with all the sick, have you been to see your hv? There is many things you can do, keep lo upright 30 mins after a feed, elevate matress at 1 end so bubs isn't lying flat etc we have tried lots of things n my lo also has colic :( if you see your hv n talk through the symptoms n it is reflux, they may prescribe you infant gaviscon (worked for us but only for a while) from what my hv said hungry baby isn't good for babies with reflux as it's hard to digest n lays heavy on their tummy.
There are formulas for it though, the comfort formulas are thicker and they may help, also sma staydown is specifically for reflux babies n is availiable on prescription ( stopped my lo being sick completely). Fingers crossed my baba is growing out of it as his little tummy matures, we still get sick but not as much xx

My lo is on sma staydown it helps alot as it's thicker than normal formular, we had to get vari flow teats though because the milk wouldn't come out of the normal teats
