Hi Guys,

Hoping someone could help me. I feel a little confused at the moment.

I got my period August 21 2014. I'm not regular because of PCOS.

I got my trigger shot on Sept 2 in the afternoon.

I had a back to back IUI done: Sept 3 afternoon and Sept 4 morning.

I want to ask how to start calculating how many DPO I am.

Do I count Sept 3 (day after TRIGGER SHOT) 1dpo?

Also since I had back to back IUI, when do I start counting 1dpIUI?

I feel so confused right now, I think I'm just making myself go crazy. :P

Hi Jaan, I'm not 100% sure but I think you count the first IUI as number 1-Sept 3. Not sure about the dpo, were you also charting or using opks to confirm day of O or did your doc maybe mention the day you Od?

Hi! I always ovulated around 38-42 hours after trigger shot. My IUI's were always done 36 hours past trigger. Never had 2 done in one cycle. I always marked next day as 1dpo. What time in afternoon on 2nd did you do the trigger shot? It really just depends on when you O after trigger. Some ladies O as early as 24 hours past trigger. Did you feel O pain?

Hello,
Thank you for taking the time to reply me. I was not charting or using opks to confirm the day of O because my cycles are fully monitored by ultra sounds. I did have an ultrasound 24 hours after my trigger shot as the doctor said she wanted to see how things were looking, and she said my egg was looking right. :)
I also did an ultrasound 9dpiui because the doctor wanted to make sure I ovulated, which I did. She could see the corpus luteum, the follicle where the egg was released.

I always assumed once you take the trigger shot you ovulate 24 hours after. Didn't realize it could be upto 36 hours after.

Hello, thanks for replying!
How did you know when you ovulate? I didn't feel any O pain, I felt a little cramping but I assumed that was due to the IUI.
I had my trigger shot 2.30PM on September 2.

IUI 1 was done the day after, Sept 23 at 2.30 PM and
IUI 2 was done Sept 24 at 12.45/1PM.

You would be AROUND 8dpo (give or take).

hmmm, I guess I had it slightly wrong, I thought that 1 day after the trigger would be my 1dpo which would make me at 11dpo. (Sept 2 trigger and today being Sept 14)

Guess I have to just wait and be patient. Tested today and got a BFN on a FRER

I get really bad cramps when I O. I agree that your probably 8dpo give or take. It's still early for testing, so you can still get that BFP. At least you know the trigger is gone.

I'm glad you both think i'm around 8dpo - that makes me feel a bit better about my double lines disappearing on the frer tests i took the other day. yes, it is still early and hope i see those double lines soon. Thanks :)
