help please

hi ...... im currently 8dpo and feel crap! (to put it bluntly) i have a 21 day cycle and i should be due a/f on the 21 of april......i have a real low dwn ache and as for the tiredness i could sleep stood up! i told myself i wasn't gonna test this early because of the dreaded BFN!........ but low and behold it got the better of me and i tested this mornng.....BFN! my only query is that used the fmu .... but late on in the day... would that make any difference???? or am i just to early to test?
rant over any advice welcome

Don't get discouraged yet. You still have time. It may be too early to test with FMU, let alone later in the day. Give it a few more days (I know it's so hard to do!) Good luck!
