Hi girls, i need some help before i go mad

I went for a wee ealier and when i wiped there was two wee spots of blood, nothing else again and all fine now, should i be worried?

Just wanted to give you my experience with bleeding.

I'm 6 weeks pregnant today and yesterday started spotting. At first it was dark red blood (not quite fresh but not brown either) and later it changed to brown. Today it's been very thick and sludgy, not pleasant stuff at all. But I have some good news because had an u/s today and saw little one with heartbeat, everything as it should be for 6 weeks!!!

Many women have bleeding that is from an irritated cervix and has absolutely nothing to do with the pregnancy. Some women get bleeding that's almost period like, and still go on to have healthy babies.

With my first preg (mmc) I had no bleeding, just some spotting that was from a cervical polyp, not from my uterus.

Hang in there and honestly try not to worry too much (I very well know that's a tall order). Did you have sex recently or have a vaginal exam? Those are also 2 very common causes for minor spotting.

It could be implantation bleeding. Very normal. I had light brown bleeding at 5weeks with my LO and all was fine. When you have bright red fresh blood is when you need to get it checked out.

M2A i think it might be an implantation bleed too its perfect timing. If it was two small spots and you have not had any more i am sure its fine.

Well i had what i thought was IB on tuesday when i had brown spotting. Last night it was bright red, but i mean only two tiny dots like full stops, thanks for the replies hopefully im worrying about nothing x

M2A - very hard to say - could be IB or irritated cervix? Maybe ask dr for quantative hcg so you know it is moving in the right direction? I followed mine on a weekly basis on the clear blue conception indicator but the blood tests would give you an idea sooner...

Well i had bloods taken yesterday but cant get results because its a weekened, get results on monday and more bloods ,thanks x

I'm also going to get more digi's i done one on friday and was 1-2 weeks which is about right so thursday/friday next week i'll do another x

def wait a week - from the bands for each stage you don't know where you are ( 25 - 200 for 1-2 weeks, 200 - 2000 for 2-3 weeks & over 2000 for 3+ ) so if you are at the bottom of a band and double ideally then it would be a week to get to the next stage.

Hey beccy - FANTASTIC NEWS..... i think about you all the time and am so chuffed your now going to be a mum again!!

Let me tell you the next 8weeks is going to be horrendous. If you though it was worrying TRYING to get preg, welcome to the new worry of trying to STAY preg - its a nightmare.

I have bled on 2 seperate occasions. Both were brown and around the time i would have got my AF... got scanned both times and baby is doing great.

I agree with HB i bought some clear blue digis and followed it weeky like that too... I am sure everything is fine.. we all know how you feel its such a worrying time.

Thanks ladies i feel much better no more spotting although i wouldnt even call it spotting lol, two tiny wee dots and that was it so FXed all is ok. Getting blood results back tomorrow and more blood taken, and i'll continue to do Digis. I done another test yesterday and its far darker than thursdays so im hoping thats a good sign Its great seeing you cyber cycle sisters over here as well x

darker is definetly good and to be honest it sounds like implantation to me and you are not expereincing any cramps or excessive bleeding so try not to worry
